Sunrise Beach is a beautiful stretch of golden sand where the blue Pacific Ocean’s rolling waves come ashore. The suburb of Sunrise Beach is loved by residents and visitors for its quiet, laidback nature even though it is only 5 km to Noosa Heads.

The beach
A local surfing and kite surfing hotspot, the beach and the dunes are also a haven for wildlife. Turtles are known to lay their eggs each year in the dunes of Sunrise Beach.

The parks and National Park
There are a number of pocket parks throughout the suburb. The Noosa National Park borders the west and south of Sunrise Beach. These are important habitats for the rare glossy black cockatoos as well as frogs.
